That is the way of it--with any friendship. I also feel the truth in what Meister Eckhart says about prayer, that the only prayer we can make is "Thank You". Blessings, Eve
The "him" in the quote could also just about any experience in life; a struggle, a new concept, acceptance of the death of a loved one, the birth of a new person, the universe(s), cosmic knowledge, friendships as Eve mentioned, my siblings, on and on... Here's to connections :)) Susan
